Inn At Taughannock - TRUMANSBURG

We have come to celebrate our anniversary and have the whole restaurant for ourselves! It was wonderful. The staff was super nice and helpful. Wonderful night!

Beautiful building and plot / terrace overlooking the Lake Cayuga. Small but cozy bar for a front-dinner drink. Lloyd was our waiter and he was excellent, helpful and friendly.

The ambiance was wonderful but the service was lacking. Server couldn’t describe the dish sauces when we asked, we had to ask for water several times. Main course came out before the table had been cleared from appys so there was no room to put down the food so I had to stack and pick up the appy plates to make room for the food. My dinner was cold and took a long while to come back out after reheating. My husband was done eating by the time I got mine. We ordered dessert, I was not offered coffee. No one within management came out to address my meal issue. I understand things happen when understaffed, but it was all a bit much for the price of the meal.

Gorgeous view, beautiful space, and best food I’ve eaten in a long time! Definitely expensive, but at least we got what we paid for.

Upon our arrival, we were seated by a polite and friendly young man. Our server was friendly, and for the most part knowledgeable about the entrees. One of the entrees delivered to the table were wrong, but it was quickly remedied. Dessert took quite a while to be delivered. The manager provided some compensation for the spotty service. We loved the entrees, and the presentation was beautiful. We certainly would return!
