Bidra med feedbackI love getting bagels from this place, its super nice and I like the chairs. I've found this to be a nice place to go on dates as well. <br/ <br/ The bagels are chewy in a really nice way and it's perfectly crispy. I get one every time I go to the farmers market.
The steady traffic of customers, even on this late Monday morning, helps to establish a baseline for what should become a fixture in the Troy scene. Nice to have an alternative to the corporate bagels down by the college. The place seems committed to environmental responsibility. The products and ingredients are locally sourced (a map is provided) with an emphasis on recycling which is totally cool. A prime River Street locale coupled with very respectable bagels (about a dozen flavors today) at a fair price point what's not to like? Both sides of the split room offer funky decor, the dining side with corrugated metal and wood tables, the other more of a lounge with area rugs and an eclectic mishmash of furniture. A welcome addition to a vastly improved downtown Troy scene. Stop by for a munch!
Awesome place, great bagels and cream cheese for a fair price
Crispy crust, chewy dough texture inside, and homemade cream cheese spell BAGEL perfection!. What’s not to like about this place? Their dozen bagels are a Baker’s Dozen (13 . The bagels have a perfect chewy texture. The outside of the bagels are nice and crisp. The flavor of even a plain bagel is tasty enough that you don’t really need to add anything to it. If you want something other than a plain bagel, they have all the typical coatings, (poppy, sesame, salt, etc. and some funky other combinations (e.g., spinach parmesan, asiago, jalapeno cheddar, cranberry orange, more .<br/ <br/ Have you ever made your own cream cheese? Me neither! But they do here and it is so much tastier than what I’ve always had from the super market. I had to look up on the internet how to make it because I couldn’t believe they would have time to make all those different kinds of bagels and still be able to make cream cheese. It seems to be pretty straight forward ingredient wise, but it takes about 24 hours including the fermentation process.<br/ <br/ So far I’ve tasted an Everything, a Blueberry, a Cinnamon Toast, a Chocolate Chunk, and Spinach Parmesan. Every single one of them was excellent. I’m looking forward to being a regular bagel eater now, with or without their cream cheese.
