Barge Inn - Troy

The food is affordable and generously portioned, but the staff can be rude, especially if you don't use the drive-thru. I went inside to pick up an order and stood there for a while while two women walked past me multiple times. After waiting for a bit, I asked if someone could assist me. One of the women said she would help me shortly. However, then a man came in and cut in line, chatting with the waitress about dinner plans while I waited nearly 15 minutes for an order I had already called in for. I initially gave them a 4-star rating, but since the owner asked for feedback regarding my experience, I'm dropping it to 3 stars.

I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes, brown gravy, and green beans. It tasted fantastic, and the service was, as always, excellent!

The waitress was excellent, and the food was enjoyable. However, I thought the green beans had a strange taste. I definitely recommend this place for its great prices and generous portions.

I absolutely love the Barge Inn! Their milkshakes are outstanding, and my favorite is the Chocolate Banana. The prices are fantastic considering the generous sizes you get.

The finest milkshakes in the area! I tried the banana split milkshake, which was loaded with chunks of banana, pineapple, and strawberry all blended into a rich chocolate base. The prices are fair, and the portions are quite generous.
