Bidra med feedbackWe immediately liked the place. The staff was very kind and came after all of our wishes. The food was just amazing: we both had a risotto with salmon which tasted like heaven. The cheese plate was a perfect dessert!
Apparently there is a new owner at this restaurant, because the bad past reviews seem wholly unlike our experience this week.We were warmly welcomed, treated to a delicious fresh salad (Salade Fraîcheur), a lovely mackerel appetizer, and a perfectly prepared fresh sole. All accompanied by a good choice of wines. We'd return in a flash!
The exterior is being painted, but inside it is warm, with a log fire high on a wall going a lovely wood burning smell. Not an extensive menu ( a good thing) but fresh fish .both starters and mains were delicious. Moderate priced wine list,
I had the Torta d'avocat, tomates d'antan as an appetizer and it was light and flavorful. For my main course, I had Petites soles du bateau with buttery mashed potatoes and julienned carrots and zucchini. Delicious! I decided to go for the dessert as well, and chose Tiramisu à la fraise. This is where my five star rating became a four. It was just OK. Glad I gave them a try! Just as an aside, I love classic rock, but I don't think it added to the dining experience.
Service ok.But food was very disappointing. We ordrered two promising Oceane salade: for 13 euro you expect something nice, when you know that all touristic places offer "dish+dessert" at 15 euro.It turned out to be A LOT of lettuce, 2 slices of tomatoes, and 3 shrimps + several can mussles. We ended up having a coffee elsewhere as we were not willing to let them have 4 more euro...
