Bidra med feedback1st time there in 20 years, fun place to eat, food was great! (Wife had Rabbitt pot pie, loved it) Maybe because it was Valentines Day, service was really slow. Had reservation at 7, seated at 7:30, ordered food at 8, didn't arrive until 9. Everything else was great will go again not on a holiday.
There was lipstick on my coffee mug which I noticed right away and pointed out to the server. She looked irritated at me and said with a disparaging attitude toward ME “ok I will get a new one” with like a weird sigh. Never once an apology from her. The busser was way more friendly, mannerly and apologetic. I used to love brunch here. It is no longer my list.
It was my birthday dinner amongst all the couples there for valantines dates. The staff loved it and were great. Was the best not valantines date nite birthday dinner in our 10 years together.
Gnocchi was porridge.... Looked like a ladle of oatmeal porridge was dumped on a plate from color to texture. Taste was overpowered by the blue cheese and it was totally gross. Steak was rare while we had ordered medium. And the charcuterie board is too expensive for 3 slices of cheese and thinly sliced meat cuts. We'll stick to the other food spots at Edgefield.
Food was amazing and the waitstaff were delightful! We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Also, as someone who has alcohol sensitivity issues, I really appreciate the addition of the craft beverages to the menu--the Persephone's Kiss I ordered did not disappoint.
