Bidra med feedbackMy family and friends went to marker 24 beforehand and didn't get service for 20min. We left and went here,better service! Had a cold beer within 10min and food shortly after we ordered. The atmosphere is very local (which we love,but beware not all the area's are family friendly with the verbage from patrons) we sat near the dock and outside bar. It was great and the bartender out there was amazing! The owner Phil is usually there and greets folks as you pass by.
I 'm not sure why this restaurant only replies to the positive reviews and not to any that express their honest concerns...I was actually hoping for a response from mgmt that explained away what we saw or perhaps was a misunderstanding and/or just an unorganized night from the staff...can someone reply to my review? Or does it have to be 5 stars to get a reply?(Original Review)We 've been here a few times because we tend to like the food...but this last time we saw what looked like twin chefs in the back without hair nets on cooking the food. We could see their hair flopping around as they made movement thru the kitchen doing their jobs. We are very concerned that food safety and keeping hair out of food is not a priority to this restaurant. Are chefs no longer required to wear hair netting? Also, the inside tables at the restaurant seems to serve as the staff break room as we saw take out food containers sitting on the empty tables and when we sat inside, the tables were filthy. Don 't let this place go to **** because the food is rather good (except too much bread on most of the sandwiches options). Please do a rehaul and clean up this place as it could be a great place to eat...
Aways I need to go there to eat a good calamari and shrimp
Went here for dinner on a monday night, and it's a seat your self type of deal. Open air and covered area with openable windows. It was a little windy out today and didn't really notice with the windows were somewhat closed. For the price you pay, it is a little cheaper than other places.Our server, bryan, has a funny and helpful personality. He had some great recommendations that we took him up on. First, we had the boom boom fried shrimp. It was cooked to perfection and not dry at all with lots of sauce. For our entrees, my husband had the Sheppards pie. It had short rib as the meat, which was also tender. I had the chicken sandwich the tropical way with my chicken jerked. It is a unique taste with the pineapple added. They also make their own kettle chips which satisfied my crunchy craving. Overall this place is worth it to try :
Great place to grab a drink and hang out. Food was good, service was great! Would definitely recommend!!!
