Bidra med feedbackTo be compared, they are good really good but not N.Y. bagels.
Went in recently for the first time. Dan’s serves sourdough bagels. This isn’t traditional, so they are not as dense or chewy as the typical bagel, but very tasty. We had the salted, plain, everything, and cinnamon sugar. Also got some of their flavored cream cheeses. The bagel sandwiches seemed very popular, too.The four star rating is because I waited over 30 minutes to pick up six bagels and some cream cheese. They are bagels. They will not change your life. No bagel is worth a half an hour. I know this means that Dan is experiencing success, and good for him, but raise prices, open a second location, or expand. My suggestion to patrons: order online well in advance and pick up without waiting in line.
Love this place! The wait is not bad at all and the staff is very professional and speedy?
Absolutely phenomenal!!! Best bagels in DFW. This place is worth any amount of drive time.Food is fresh. Everything is made daily. They continue making bagels throughout the morning. If you go on a Saturday, expect to wait outside. However, don't be discouraged they are efficient at what they do.they don't skimp on the amount of product on your bagel which I love. Great options on the menu like pastrami, lox, chicken salad, and specialty bagels specialty cream cheeses. The only thing I would ask is that they don't use their feet to push the baskets in on the bottom shelf and that they change their gloves a little more often. For example, in between making someone's bagel and making someone's coffee. Or touching things like their hat, clothes, or their hair while wearing food safe gloves then making someone's food or drink.Overall wonderful experience. The food 10/10. Staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about their ingredients. Atmosphere is perfect, in and out. A must.
A small shop that packs a huge punch! Everything is unbelievably good. Lox, BEC, whitefish, chicken salad. You name it, it’s rock solid. If you go with a breakfast bagel add the hash brown ?
