Chalet Chanso - Buvette d' Alpage

We were in the chalet chanso for two nights in early summer. although we had to book it in a hurry, as we had to change our previous plans last minute, the experience was extremely positiw and one that we would absolutely recommend! we were. very surprised by the excellent view of the impressive dells of the midi from the chalet (which they can enjoy from their terrace) and the excellent location of the chalet for summer hikes (the chalet lies on the way in the direction pointe de bellevue, which offers an impressive view of the surrounding peaks and even the gentile lake) these two elements make the chalet very unique and helped us make the best of their stay. the employees of the chalets and the owners were always attentive and helpful and even helped us plan activities for our stay. they always did their best to meet our requirements and to adapt them to our arrival time and departure times. the rooms and bathrooms were very clean, modern and neat and the chalet is warm at night, even if it is quite cold outside. we had breakfast and dinner both days in the chalet. the food and the service were very good. for their raclette they use local products and we found that it was much more intense than other raclettes we had in the Swiss. the fact that they can eat in the terrace while enjoying the breathtaking view is a big plus and an unforgettable experience. all in all we recommend chalet chanso, as it was the highlight of our small Swiss tour.

Safe is one of the better views of morgins, but the bad level of service and the low quality of food will never let me come back.

This must be one of the best restaurants in the alps. but the owner of the dame is short tempered, the menu is very limited (although well cooked). great place to visit in summer and sit outside and enjoy the sun and the view of the 7 summits. seemingly very difficult to come in winter (no ski lifts) so that only experienced skiers can get there.
