Krispy - Triolet

I stopped here on a late night looking for something desperately to eat for dinner. They were literally selling on the road and it was hard to miss. The smell of fried chicken was in the air and I was debating between that and a burger. I went for the burger instead, with fries and I asked them to add extra chilli sauce. When it was time to eat at home, the burger was still piping hot. I may have made a mistake with the extra chilli, as it was really hot and made the food less enjoyable, which in itself was quite tasty. I'd be happy to try this again in the future, with less chilli this time!

The lowest common denominator is, of course, fried chicken. Krispy Fried Chicken has found fortune in this area. Although I'm now vegetarian I can testify that their fried chicken is less oily and more agreeable to eat (and digest). They are almost always busy. Their chicken is not only great but extremely affordable with their cheapest item priced at Rs 20. Their burger is the most expensive item on sale and in terms of quality vs price easily beats KFC's chicken burgers. Note that Krispy Fried Chicken is a take away place, not an actual restaurant. They deserve a serious nod for being so effective. They would have gotten a 5 out of 5 if they were better located and not in such a cramped area and if they had a more elaborate menu.

Start was good but then price more than KFC!
