Krispy - Triolet

The chicken was excessively greasy, and the rounders were extremely dry. I’m not sure why people continue to choose this place.

I stopped by this restaurant late at night, desperately looking for something to eat for dinner. They had a road-side setup that was hard to miss, and the smell of fried chicken wafting through the air caught my attention. I found myself torn between choosing chicken or a burger, ultimately opting for the burger with fries, and I requested extra chili sauce. When it was time to enjoy my meal at home, the burger was still nicely hot. However, I think I overdid it with the extra chili, as it turned out to be quite spicy and made the food less enjoyable, even though it was tasty on its own. I would definitely consider trying this place again in the future, but I’ll stick to less chili next time!

The essential offering at Krispy Fried Chicken is, of course, fried chicken, and this establishment has struck gold in that category. Although I am now vegetarian, I can attest that their fried chicken is less greasy and more pleasant to enjoy (and digest). They usually have a bustling crowd. Not only is their chicken delicious, but it is also extremely budget-friendly, with the lowest-priced item starting at just Rs 20. Their burger, the most expensive option on the menu, offers superior quality for the price compared to KFC’s chicken burgers. It's worth mentioning that Krispy Fried Chicken is a takeout spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. They truly deserve recognition for their efficiency. However, they would have earned a perfect 5 out of 5 if they were located in a more spacious area and had a wider variety on their menu.
