Bidra med feedbackRustic and well-kept location with friendly and professional staff. You eat well. I recommend to anyone looking to eat local products to stop in this beautiful place. Fixed menu 30 euro.
Finally a place where you can still eat so much and well with simple and genuine products, at a price even antihistoric . Fixed menu at 25 euros with series of appetizers, first, second and fruit. It seems to be back in time when a salad leaf was a salad leaf and not a gourmet vegetable of the low Lucania . Absolutely to recommend.
Tried to celebrate a birthday impersonal service and food average. Would not recommend at all. Wish we had selected another restaurant for this important occasion.
The four of us stopped here for lunch on the way back from the sea. For under 100 Euros we ate an amazing meal typical for the area. The antipasti was plentiful and each item perfectly done and right for the season. You are served what is the food of the day no menu and really no need for one. The couple we went with had been there before and told us each time they went it was different, equally delicious each time and this visit was no different. The place is busy, so well known in the area. The setting is relaxing with antiques lining the walls, beautiful plants around the seating areas, a play area for kids, goats and horses to visit. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a delicious well valued dining experience.
Visiting the towns of Trecchina, Maratea and Rivello we were advised to have lunch at L'Aia dei Cappellani. Boy, we sure were glad for that recommendation! As you walk in, you realize that the Michelin and TripAdvisor awards they've received are VERY well-deserved. The atmosphere is that of a spotlessly clean and well-kept country farmhouse where you are likely to meet the owners. But, the food!! We had a large group and were served NINE antipasti before the main course. Mushrooms, potatoes, stuffed green peppers, beans, one better than the other. I've always disliked eggplant, but I couldn't have enough of the cheese filled eggplant here. Budget some time so you can enjoy a relaxed wine lunch or dinner where you'll be treated like family. Did I mention the view? Gorgeous Italian mountain landscape. Don't miss!
