Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Traverse City

Absolutely love this place! You just need to realize every food establishment can vary person to person, day to day. My experience has never been short of phenomenal. Just look at the fresh meats on full display in the cooler. Also, being a previous employee back in the day, I can say it really is legit. Andre runs a very good store, and the employees always treated me well and with respect (Even with my high functioning autism). Steve is a wonderful manager as well. Don't be angry when someone can't answer the phone in 2 milliseconds. There are times it gets BUSY. Let me say though, absolutely delicious food! I remember looking forward to lunch time every single day I was on. Makes me hungry just typing it out. If you had anything short of an amazing experience, please consider giving it another try. Even my favorite places like agave have their down days. It happens. I love this establishment!

We stopped here after picking up family from the airport. The food was really good! We tried to each get different sides to try them. I will say, the fried Okra, was my favorite! I ordered a Pulled Pork Sandwich, but they accidently gave me a platter, which was fine. The prices were good, the variety was good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with helping us figure out what we wanted! We will be back!

This was such a disappointment… I understand there is a shortage of workers and the workers they do have are over worked. But this was my side salad literally the last few pieces of the lettuce mix! And when you get BBQ you get sauces right? We received NONE! So I called the store and the individual I spoke with was not sorry whatsoever. Told me they were busy, our dinner was cold and not just a little cold but really cold.

My burger had brisket on it which i am pleasantly surprised by. went back and looked up up the menu and can't believe i mised it..would have ordered another burger. i'll be back!

Had it delivered and it was delicious. I was hesitant since some delivery burgers aren't as good as they should be, but I was really hungry so I gave it a shot. The burger was juicy and the toppings were fresh.
