Bidra med feedbackI had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the customer service was fantastic. I happened to walk in after their new closing hours, and the owner kindly made me a pulled pork sandwich without charging me. We chatted about smoking meat, and it was clear that he truly loves BBQ. I will definitely be returning!
My husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich, which he found to be a bit dry, somewhat cold, and lacking in meat. I chose a beef brisket sandwich, which also had very little meat, and the bun was torn. At around $10 each, we were disappointed with the portion sizes; it really wasn't worth the price.
Excellent bbq. Damion and the crew do great work! I?m a big fan of the brisket burnt ends. The aesthetics of the building are both accessible and welcoming. Walk up counter, inside and outside seating, pre-packaged desserts (I like the choc chipbrownie . They have hard plastic cups that are high quality and are actually top rack dishwasher safe (reminds me of early1990?s re-usable cups you would get at an MLB ballpark ???? . I despise when the paper bottom of a cheap cup gets soaked and thecup becomes useless. I?ve become a regular here and I don?t plan to stop anytime soon. Great score for Traverse City here withDicky?s BBQ.
I absolutely love this restaurant! It's important to remember that every dining experience can vary from person to person and day to day. My experiences here have consistently been outstanding. Just take a look at the fresh meats prominently displayed in the cooler. Having worked here in the past, I can confidently say it's a genuinely great place. Andre runs a fantastic establishment, and I was always treated well and with respect by the staff, even with my high-functioning autism. Steve is also a wonderful manager. If you find yourself frustrated because someone can’t answer the phone immediately, keep in mind that it can get really busy at times. That said, the food is absolutely delicious! I remember looking forward to lunchtime every single day I worked there—it makes me hungry just thinking about it. If you had anything less than an amazing experience, I encourage you to give it another shot. Even my favorite spots, like Agave, have their off days. It happens. I truly love this place!
The food was good, but nothing special. Pulled pork was very flavorful and juicy but mine was a bit cold. The bun on the pulled pork sandwich was good in the middle, but hard and possibly stale around the edge. Onion tanglers were very good along with themac and cheese.
