Bidra med feedbackA few reviews mentioned that this place was expensive, but they get what they pay, and sugo is not disappointed. we don't eat too often, but this place was amazing. the service and eating were excellent. taste of southern Italy. if you have the chance, just go.
Probably the best pasta I have ever had, absolutely delicious and the mozzarella is to die for. Alex and his team are amazing hosts. Fabulous location. Sit outside and watch the world go by.
I decided to stop by Sugo on a whim, even though I know you usually need to make a reservation. However, they were happy to accommodate us. I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at Sugo, and the staff is friendly without being intrusive. I ordered the Sugo House, which consisted of slow-cooked beef shin and pork shoulder with orecchiette in a spicy n’duja sauce. My husband had the Strozzapreti with Tuscan sausage, wild rocket pesto, oven-roasted tomatoes, and parmesan. We also ordered a side dish of tenderstem broccoli with parmesan, breadcrumbs, and garlic, which was perfectly cooked. Although the menu had changed since our last visit, we were not disappointed at all. It was the perfect end to our walk on a beautiful autumn day.
Genuinely beautiful food and wine. It's like they have taken the best Italian food I have ever had, made each individual element 10 times more tasty and then balanced them all to perfection. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall a stunning evening.
My fave place!!! The food always tastes good! Highly recommend it.
