Lucky Wok - Trafford

We have booked through Just-eat and came across this one by accident. We live in Wythenshawe so not as local as some however, well worth the £1.20 delivery. Mixture of thai and Chinese so we all had different things from thai green curry, chow mein and vermicelli. First time was a set meal with an extra meal and whilst its not the cheapest takeaway we have had it is the best by far and not had anything yet we haven't enjoyed and very generous portions. We are converts to this place and don't think anyone would be disappointed.

After moving to Sale, we discovered a hidden gem of a restaurant! We have ordered takeout several times and each time has been just as delightful as the last. During busy times, they let you know that delivery may take longer than the usual 45 minutes, but the quality, delicious food always makes up for it. The only issue we had was when the delivery driver had trouble finding us, but it was quickly resolved.

I have ordered from this takeaway twice before and the food was good, with delivery within an hour. I believe no one should have to wait longer than an hour for delivery, so when I waited for an hour this evening, I called. The man apologized and said they were very busy, but promised to send the food soon. However, two hours later, nothing arrived and no one called. This was unacceptable and ruined our Saturday night. Next time, I will pick up my food, but never again from the "Lucky" Wok.

Awful (lack of) service. Avoid. Ordered food for delivery ASAP. Quoted 45 mins to an hour for delivery. An hour and a half later no food so spent half an hour phoning them (kept ringing out) to be told it'd be another 30 minutes. No apologies or explanation offered, proprietor rude when told them to cancel order as not prepared to wait for another 30 minutes for an order placed two hours previously.
