Shang Palace Authentic Cantonese

The service and atmosphere is nope notch but the food is average. I believe expensive is payment for environment and services only.

The best hot and sour soup in town. At nearly $10 (200k vnd) it’s far far from cheap. But they do give generous seafood in the soup. The other exceptional dish here is the fried rice. Especially the green one. The dim sum is above average but not the best example even in Ho Chi Minh.

Overprived vs food quality service level, the staff will bring some snacks to start with and did not say it costs.

A Cantonese restaurant that serves authentic dishes and Dimsum buffet only on weekday lunches. The Dimsum selection is quite diverse, and each one we tried was done well! Had quite my share of dimsums from all over the world, including China, and can say that Shang Palace indeed served good food. For those dimsum Cantonese food lovers, I highly recommend this place and additionally they also do serve popular dishes such as peking duck and other seafood dishes.
