Trailhead Steak Trout - Townsend

Ok, food. Nothing spectacular. It used to be a lot better.

Came here for my birthday I must say service was excellent so was the food. I had the Queen Ribeye cooked to perfection. Grilled Trout was so good. Blueberry Cheesecake was super delicious. Would definitely come back again.

Being a 30+ minute drive from downtown Pigeon Forge, this place was WORTH THE DRIVE. I will say, call ahead because we waited 45+ minutes on a sunday at 4pm in the afternoon. Solid staff, decent atmosphere and the beer is COLD and Affordable. 16oz is 4 and a 22oz is 6 dollars ..WHAT A DEAL! Anyway, worth the drive and try anything, it all was solid!

Make sure to have a reservation. I missed that and if you walk in, 45 to 1 hour wait. Steak was good and trout was flavourful. No bar, just an FYI. Really just ok. Expected so much more.

After having a nightmare experience at Tony Gore Smoky mountain barbecue. Thank god we found this place . Steak and Trout did NOT disappoint.
