Subway - Townsend

How do they stay in business? It says they're open til 8pm on Sundays. It is currently 7:18 pm and its completely closed and dark inside. Poor management.

The two kids working when we went were leaving the place unattended and going out to sit in their car in the parking lot and smoke weed between orders. If another guy hadnt pulled in, the kids wouldn't have even known we were in their store and we'd have had to go out to their car get them to come in to take our order. They came in reeking of marijuana.

I would probably give this negative Stars if I could. I came in there tonight too get a sandwich and I was completely disgusted to say the very least. I'm quite certain that the employee is probably expecting a review although I don't really feel that it was his fault. First of all almost all of the ingredients were uncovered and open to the air, there were at least 20 or more little fruit flies and black flies buzzing around, and as he began to make my sandwich, he stopped to turn around and start preparing my girlfriend's sandwich and when he did one of the many black house flies that were also in there, landed on my sandwich he was preparing to make. He was very apologetic and said he did not know where the flies were coming from. I can tell you where the flies were coming from. It is the end of summer, they flying every time that you open the door, and also all of the meats all of the vegetables and all of the cheese's and the guacamole the tuna and everything else, was uncovered. I can't imagine how people have not gotten sick from this restaurant and I am appalled. He was a very professional young man and very polite, however clearly someone is not doing their job there. If I was Subway itself, I would not want my company name attached to this particular franchise.

If I could negative stars I would. The worker had no personality, didn't great us, didn't say much at all. There was literally no one there and the place was a mess. Flies all around the fountain drinks, dirty tables, they dont cover the food or condiments. Lettuce was brown but worst of all I got food poisoning. I got the sweet onion chicken like I always do but this time it tasted and smelled wrong. NEVER AGAIN!! STAY AWAY!!

Great service and friendly staff. Clean place not sure if sanitary but I do find it a little odd that none of the food is ever covered it's left out to wilt and dry. Would not recommend lettuce or spinach for these reasons. Also flies can land on the food if uncovered....
