Artzy Cafe - Town of Remsen

Well for my first visit , simply put , stepping through the entrance , I removed my hat cause i knew i was going to stay awhile , and it wasn't a waste of my time ! Seeing is believing , as well , taste smell , it so quiet , you can hear yourself think , and the infamous service with a smile ! Your going to like it here !

It was actually closed and the big woods bakery had taken its place I will try them again but at this point they only get 3 stars

Formerly the Artzy Cafe now Big Woods Bakery.. Lets start with the food. Menu is reasonably priced with a good selection for just about any craving. Being my first time in, I got a cheeseburger and chips. This was one of the best homemade burgers Ive had in a very long time. Cooked perfectly, juicy but not greasy at all. Fresh hand cut veggies for the toppings. Wow. Just Wow! Hand cut chips were crisp and not super salty. If this plate was indication of the rest of the menu, this restaurant should do extremely well. Plenty of seating and the wait time on the food was in line with my order. Now let me say aside from the food the hospitality was worth the cost of the plate and then some. Jennifer and Julie were both extremely friendly, humorous and made me feel right at home. I havent been engaged by waitresses like this in a long time. They enjoy their jobs and their patrons and it definitely shows. I give Big Woods Bakery a solid 5 stars. If I could give a better rating I certainly would. This is one local restaurant I can't wait to visit again. If you have the opportunity to stop in, do it!

It is no longer Artzy Cafe but Big Woods Bakery Cafe. Real, not frozen burger and fries! Great food. Family atmosphere
