Alba - Torroella de Montgrí

We had heard that this was worth a try. Starters were ok, and the grilled prawns were pretty good. However, the meat dishes were all a bit disappointing rather tough and a bit dry. Service was good and a pretty good range of wines.

Took ages to order, forever to get the drinks, again a lot of time to get the bill and after 10 minutes we got the change (and even too little). We will never go back to this place!

We have been coming to L'Estartit for a number of years and Restaurant Alba is one of our favourites. Always good for a meal off of the menu (Liver and onions Goats cheese salad Croquant pizzas are also good for a light bite. We also stop off on our way out of town for a coffee or night cap.

Despite the kindness and diligence of the staff, they must pay a little more attention to the food, both in quantity and in the presentation. Not bad, let's say step by step. But they have an improvement field. It's not worth tourism. with their privileged situation, because they make little effort, they will have more success.

For breakfast and food is a good restaurant, has a good terrace in the square and in front of the restaurant.
