Bidra med feedbackThis friendly place also serves great food. We usually come for the weekday lunch menu, but have eaten from the carta several times in the evening and have always been pleased. Diners who order lamb or cochinillo also seem to be happy! Torrecaballero has several good restaurants but this one has become our favorite.
Excellent food at reasonable prices. A much better choice than the classic tourist traps of Segovia city centre. The sucklig pig meatballs are a must. Portios are huge. Good choice of wines at excellent prices. The lady owner is adorable and always ready to help and give a good advice. We have been there the 3 last times we were in Segovia. It is just a 5 minute drive from the city and parking is easy. Just pass the centre of Torrecaballeros and you will see it after 200 meters on the right side of the road.
We found this restaurant when we stopped off on our way down to Southern Spain and have returned each year for 2years. Food fresh and seasonal and typical Segovian fare. Wines good and prices reasonable. The menu of the day is €10 or try individual dishes or raviones around €6 €10 . Suckling pig and Roasted Lamb beautifully cooked a must ! More expensive but worth it.
Very pleasant kind of rustic romantic experience. We regrettably speak no Spanish but the server was pleasant and made us feel quite welcome. The presentation was a work of art and prepared to perfection. Good beer and wine list too. A really pleasant evening.
