The Rosedale Diner - Toronto

I came here for brunch today with my boyfriend and the food was great! We sat in the back patio and service was a bit slow in the beginning because there were a lot of people when we arrived, but the staffs became more attentive once some of the customers left. I got the salmon Benedict and my friend got the chicken and waffles. My salmon Benedict was great, although they do serve it on toast instead of an English muffin. The fries are amazing.My friend got the chicken and waffles, he was hesitant to get it at first because he has not have a good experience getting chicken and waffles at other brunch restaurants but he enjoyed the one here. I would definitely come back here again for brunch!

A cozy back patio with decent food and good wine selection. The wait staff is friendly but not particularly attentive, as the ‘checkins’ are few and far between. Although the restaurant was not busy, we waited over 45 mins for our one entree and it was near cold when served.

Extremely cute vibe with okay food and fine service. Nothing outstanding.

Not the same Rosedale Diner I’ve known from before service food taste). My steak came in cold and the service was very average. Was greeted in a rude way when I arrived despite the fact I was on time for my reservation. Something changed about what used to be of of my favourite places to go for casual dining. Not coming back, lots of other options in the neighborhood.

It is definitiw for a diner overpriced. the air conditioning really didn't work and the backyard terrace is patient. the waitress had to be asked several times to bring small questions like a finger shell and serviettes for the ribs. sad, this restaurant is not just the summer standards.
