The Beaver Cafe - Toronto

My partner and I attended a pub quiz with a friend. It was crowded so we had to stand. The beer selection was good and the tacos and nachos we had were vegan and tasty. We had a great time at the quiz and would like to go back on a normal day, as the pub has a great style and atmosphere. The pub is usually LGBTQ-friendly, which we appreciated.

If you're ever in the mood for a quirky night out at a LGBTQ-friendly establishment, look no further than The Beaver. On a Sunday evening filled with karaoke, local beer, and conversation, I found myself at an art opening where I sang some tunes and mingled with enough hipsters to last me a year. The bar may be small and a bit cramped, but the cozy atmosphere makes it all worthwhile. The clientele is friendly, albeit on the artsy and hip side, with a tendency not to take themselves too seriously. The staff is welcoming and efficient, making sure your drinks keep coming. It's a great place to let loose and embrace hipster culture for the night.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is beautiful. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the great coffee and delicious food. The value is excellent, with a good selection of music and a relaxed, friendly ambiance.

The beaver is a small cafe/bar that is friendly to lgbtq. At night it is a bar that is often a hot local scene. but during the day they serve great food with little work. the brunch menu has some amazing elements. I get...Murders for her breakfast burrito is so good, with her suppen are incredible and the huevos rancheros is also great. there are unique baked French toast as well as served with real impact cream, maple syrup and berries. the menu is also very vegan / veggie friendly, with a tofu burrito. The large breaky is with a nasalate that is always fresh and tastefully dressed. it surprises me that this place does not have a line out of the door, but I am glad that there is a Sunday space for my friend and I. the drake and the gladstone seem to give more attention, probably for the hype and better decoration, but if they want great food for a great price, they do the beaver.

I really enjoy this place. Stopped by for coffee after an art show nearby. Had Americanos for a super reasonable price, barkeep was friendly and service was also great. VERY interesting wallpaper! Will come back for dinner.
