I got a sneak preview of the new location the other day and this is going to be the coolest bar in the city. True story

I've been coming here regularly since October/November 2016, and it's honestly my most favourite place to be! Since my very first visit all of the staff have been nothing but wonderful. They're all friendly and engaging and treat patrons more like friends than simple customers, greeting everyone with a smile. So, don't be surprised if you find yourself in some friendly competition with one of the staff; be it video games, table-top, or the ever-so-popular Magic: the Gathering (it's how I learned to play)! The Cyber-Punk atmosphere is very casual and relaxed with a ton of cool things to look at. Plus, with local artists regularly stocking the walls with one-of-a-kind pieces, like shirts, prints, sculptures, and even drinking horns, you'll definitely find some cool things that you wouldn't be able to get anywhere else! They also host some very popular and unique events that you won't be able to see anywhere else in the city; ranging from their regular Wednesday night Magic: the Gathering drafts and Thursday night karaoke, to comedy and magic shows, burlesque and cosplay nights, dance parties, Goth nights, Queer and Trans friendly/positive events, and so much more! Plus, they're slowly expanding their basement and have a ton of ideas in the works for future events. Spoiler: Robot Wars! If you're in to video games, they have a wide selection of titles and consoles ranging from retro NES to PS4, which is constantly expanding. Plus, they have many group-friendly and system-link titles if you're looking for a relaxed environment to hang out with friends, or make some new ones. Yes, they have Goldeneye and many versions of Mario Party! If board games are more your thing, they have a growing selection along with large, open-style tables or private, intimate booths available on a first-come-first-served basis (reservations are also available). And, if you have a game at home that you'd like to bring in and play, that's cool, too. So, if you're looking to host your next DnD, etc. meet-up but need a place to host, speak with one of the staff members and they'll be happy to help you out! If you're looking to wet your whistle, there's also a full bar and café, with uniquely delicious cocktails and tasty non-alcoholic options. Feeling peckish? Their kitchen is open late and serves mouth-watering, homemade dishes (with a good selection of vegan/vegetarian options), ranging from nachos, salads, sandwiches, hearty soups, and desserts. The staff are very accommodating and offer many substitutions and add-ons to their menu; my favourite, hands down, is the Mac and Cheese with added chicken! All in all, See-Scape is a very positive, relaxed, and safe environment to enjoy a night out alone or with friends; all are welcome! I look forward to their continued expansion and creative ideas and will definitely be hanging out there as often as I can! Would rate as a 6 if I could!

See-Scape is possibly THE BEST BAR you will ever go to. The atmosphere and scenery are superbly unique. They have multiple booths themed in the styles of post-apocalyptic (Fallout), horror, fantasy (Harry Potter-looking) and jungle adventure (Tomb Raider, Uncharted). The patrons are easy-going and fun and the staff are super cool and friendly. Their food is delicious and have some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Their drink menu has some specialty-themed drinks that are clever and delicious. The prices are great as well. They have a huge selection of board games and video games across multiple consoles. They run frequent special events such as burlesque shows, magic shows, stand-up comedy, cosplay gatherings, movie nights and others. They also do weekly karaoke on Thursday nights and weekly Magic the Gathering booster drafts on Wednesday nights. Their Magic the Gathering community is very strong and vibrant as mostly all the staff play and there is usually a customer or two at least that bring decks to play on most nights. Do yourself a favour and check it out for yourself! This place is AWESOME!!!

Outstanding staff, great food, and the most unique atmosphere and design of any cafe, bar, game shop out there!

I sincerely love this place! The incredible hard work that went into creating this amazing space was well worth it. The staff are super friendly which makes it a wonderful place to hang out. Plus the fun, oh so much fun! Video games, board games, beverages, foods and rootbeer floats! :D
