Peking Duck Kitchen - Toronto

Don't come here, it's not authentic. it is cheap and the chef is worse than a beginner 5 years old child. her peking reveal is absolute müll for $60 it is only depressing to have in restaurant name.

Came here for take-out and ordered yangzhou fried rice and a bark meat dish. the meat dish was in order, but I have never had such a terrible “footed” rice in my whole life. I mean, that picture speaks for itself. do you really tell me that an authentic Chinese restaurant serves lumpy, soggy fried rice? it doesn't even look, tastes or feels like rice. it feels closer than tears honest. just every taste. Not to mention $14. yikes! the waitress was not very attentive either. she said it would take 20 minutes (for 2 dishes,) so she took our number down and said she would call us when it was done. only another customer in the restaurant. no reason to go here if there are so many great restaurants in the opposite.

Covid really influenced this place. there was only one waiter, one cook specializing in the peking duck and one cook responsible for cooking other dishes than we went. the portions have become smaller and there were only five wrappers for the duck, we had to ask for more and they have charged us $4. I have seen pictures before the kovid and the portions were almost cut in half. Apart from the peking duck, everything was served in a take-out container and our plates and utensils were all available (they have calculated us a $4.00 utensili fee) the atmosphere was somehow depressing and I recommend to take if they want to eat their food. Remember that their portions are really small now and I hope they can work as normal because eating was good.

On this place and enjoyed eating, but had a terrible experience. the peking duck ordered and it was delicious. the staff of the service had a terrible experience. the rösttaube is equipped with two dressed. the second shell (entence bone) came in a styrofoam box. during eating the waiting staff simply fell the styrofoam box on the corner of the table next to me. it was open and the lid simply turned on my poor who had annoyed the experience. when it comes to the payment, a receipt was not issued, was briefly changed $10,) and came to an surprise tupperware fee.
