Bidra med feedbackVery rich and with tremendous options of Chinese dishes and sushi. the buffet is with salad and dessert, we went on a weekend and it was with crab speciality, the lovely waitress helped us with a cracker and showed us how to get the most of meat from the crabs, the soft drinks are refillable. the food is fresh and very generous. I just love it
Where do I start ... wow what a place .. I've been to all you can eat restaurants before many a time but not like this one ... There was such a wide choice of food to choose from and so fresh .. the place was immaculate and the service there was you want staff to be polite and helpful . Such a beautiful array of food to suit every pallet... Couldn't fault it.
We have visited Toronto from the UK four times in the past eighteen years visiting family and each visit we have eaten at the Mandarin. It has remained consistently excellent with regards to service, selection and quality of food at it's price point. The staff are always welcoming and efficient, there is a large selection of food which is always fresh, hot and constantly refreshed. The best value is the lunch time menu, the dearest time to eat is the evenings at weekend, however they do offer snow crab legs and better cuts of beef at this time, which partially reflects the increase in price. Having said this we dined at other restaurants in the Toronto area and payed the price of one full adult Mandarin meal just for a steak alone which highlighted the value offered by the Mandarin.
The food is usually varied and of good quality! The service is always efficient and friendly. The buffet area needs to be enlarged as it is too small for crowded services!
This was my first time at the Mandarin after many years. It was a good choice for family including a child visiting from out of Canada. The friendly greeting, the relaxed atmosphere and the wide variety of food left everybody happy. I was pleased to see many of the same dishes I enjoyed long ago still available. The prices are higher on weekends and holiday, plus the cost of wine and soft drinks are quite high. Even with half price for the one senior and one child, the final bill was a shock. People who eat at the Mandarin should go when they are hungry and try as much as appeals to you. Just order water to drink. Then it will be a special experience.
