Bidra med feedbackI organized a Toronto pizza crawl as an ice breaker for all the guys I'm having be my groomsmen for my wedding next year and this was our first stop.I'm so happy it was, we started off with the best we visited that day. The staff were amazing, the pizzas were the best we had, the crust was deliciously thin and crispy. And their garlic dipping sauce was divine. If I ever want pizza in Toronto, you bet I'm going to go to this specific maker pizza.Thank you so much for the hospitality and the delicious food! You guys are amazing!
Used to be good in its prime but the taste and quality has definitely gone downhill. Ordered a Frank’s Best and immediately we noticed it looked different than our previous orders. Don’t know how to describe it, but the pizza looked pale, and it definitely wasn’t the thin crust we knew and loved. Their pizza dough changed for the worse and they REALLY skimped on the cheese. No beloved bubbles on the crust either. The caramelized onions felt like they were just slapped on top and were not actually baked in with the pizza. What happened????
This was my first visit. I was excited to try their famous Napoli Dynamite, and So Mushroom. We ordered the two large pizza combos, which included two dips and four drinks for $70.The restaurant only had one table available. Fortunately, we were the only people dining in at the time, and we were able to enjoy the food onsite without much waiting. All necessary dining amenities like paper plates, forks, and napkins were available upon request. Both pizzas were served promptly in 20 minutes. We were pleased to see the generous amount of toppings. What caught my eyes were the robust crust that was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.Napoli Dynamite was an explosion of flavours A tangy start with green olives, followed by crumbled house made Italian sausage, and punctuated with pickled jalapeños. The combination of these robust ingredients gave the pizza rich flavour profile, reminiscent of a perfect marriage between Bolognese and Arrabbiata. So Mushroom, on the other hand, was more of a quiet symphony. Topped with sliced cremini mushrooms and an array of cheeses, it was slightly greasy but delightfully complex. The white base sauce added more depth. However, its sophisticated flavours seemed to be overshadowed by the presence of the more flavour forward Napoli Dynamite. One minor issue was the inconsistent size of the pizza slices, with some being almost three times bigger than others. Some might overlook this, but I found it slightly inconvenient. Also, the dipping sauce options were slightly disappointing. I initially chose creamy garlic parmesan, but upon seeking another recommendation, I got the spicer variant. It merely added chilli oil and flakes to the original, offering little variety. In retrospect, I would have appreciated being informed about other flavours like the dill butter ranch.Despite these minor hiccups, our overall experience at Maker Pizza was quite pleasant. We were there for the pizzas, and I think they delivered on the quality. If you are in the area and in the mood for pizza, I think this place is worth considering.
Best pizza I’ve ever had. And I’ve tried a range of pizza styles, brands, etc. This pizza rocks and there’s just nothing else like it. Extraordinary dough/crust. Toppings and sauce were perfection. Cannot wait to try again. #pizzagods
Delicious pizza and is now one of my favourite spots in Toronto! Tried the Spicy Pep God with the garlic dip and it was delicious. Service was friendly during pick up too. Would definitely return to try their other pies.
