Los Guaca-Moles - Toronto

We had a great dinner with a big group of vegan and vegetarian friends. The pricing was reasonable and there were some unique dishes on the menu. I appreciate having this restaurant in the area. The owner is lovely. However, our server seemed a bit overwhelmed handling our group of 12.

The service was friendly and the street food was authentic and delicious. The atmosphere was low-key and the value for the price was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

We were looking forward to trying authentic Mexican cuisine. The first dish that arrived was the Sabanita Guacamole with beans and sour cream. It was excellent and we got off to a great start. However, the Lake Bass Ceviche Tostada was topped with something resembling shrimp cocktail sauce, and we couldn't taste the fish or lime juice. It was terrible. The Enchiladas were also disappointing, as they seemed to have tomato paste on them. While my friends enjoyed their tacos, my meal did not meet my expectations. We decided to have dessert elsewhere. Even though I love Mexican food, I do not plan to return to this restaurant.

My friend and I went to Los Guaca-Moles for dinner tonight. This restaurant serves the best Mexican food in Toronto. Every dish we tried was beyond our expectations, the Nopal Torta, Mole Pipian and their Guacamole were all fantastic. They also have some excellent cocktails and desserts. We recommend Los Guaca-moles. Delicious!

If you ever want to feel like family while enjoying deliciously authentic Mexican food in a fabulous environment, this is the place to be! Visiting on the eve of cinqo de mayo while enbibing a few complimentary beverages in celebration was just an added treat...that won't happen every day but we just got lucky. The service is second to none and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and go above and beyond for all their patrons. But, seating is limited unless their patio is open so don't be surprised if you have to wait. It's totally worth it!!!
