Bidra med feedbackGreat service. Very Impressed that we could get turmeric lattes and gluten free bread with non dairy options. Lovely atmosphere for breakfast sitting in the sum watching the boats and pelicans.
A very pleasant place to stop for a bite and a coffee. Staff were very friendly and the food and coffee were delicious. Only problem was that our food was brought out separately - hubby and I ordered the same item - one was delivered first, and then after about 5 minutes the next meal came. Coffee arrived another 5 minutes after that. I did as for a mug not a glass for my chai, but it was delivered in a glass, but it was extra hot, as I had requested. Such a pleasant view of the passage and glasshouse mountains. I will return.
Nice frittata and quiche. Good coffee. Good Saturday lunch spot. Service was good and frittata was warm and delicious. Pleasant view of passage and mountains.
A Coffee and sandwich took 45 minutes, the young staff were rude and did not care or offer an apology. On arrival the coffee was cold and the wait staff told us it was because we let it sit before drinking. the bread was stale and dry and the filling while sounding great was disappointing and tasteless. keep going back in the hope it will improve and it never does.
I took advantage of Australia Day falling on a Thursday to take Friday as a day's annual holiday and enjoy an extra long weekend, which also gave me the rare privilege of taking my four year old son to school and have brunch with my wife!We decided to go to Bribie Island and try the Seaclusion Cafe, located in a small hub of foodies, near the Bribie Island bridge. The cafe sits on the waterfront, with undercover outdoor seating, next to the boat ramp, with the Bribie Island Volunteer Rescue Pontoon just the other side. There is also a very nice undercover public seating area just the other side of the boat ramp. It had been a very humid morning, and our chosen table did not benefit from any natural breeze, which was very unusual, as normally - and we dine at various locations across Bribie Island on a very regular basis - normally we have a beautiful sea breeze, which makes even the hottest of days a comfortable experience. So, for brunch we both chose the big breakfast, consisting of bacon, eggs (cooked how you like), sourdough toast, tomato's, hash brown, mushrooms, and chipolatas (unavailable this morning after a very busy Australia Day for the cafe!) This hiccup was addressed with an extra serving of bacon! I had an English breakfast tea, whilst my wife had a flat white coffee. The tea and coffee came out shortly after our order was placed, although my wife managed to drink hers before brunch arrived - a typical issue we have whenever we have breakfast or brunch. So, with the water gently lapping against the sea wall, we were ready to go! Brunch was served in a good timely manner, and well presented. The bacon, for us both, was cooked to a mixture of medium and well done, which resulted in us swapping each other's half share so I had all the medium cooked and my wife had the well done! I had poached eggs, which were cooked perfectly, with a great runny yolk! The mushrooms weren't too great, but had a good flavour. I didn't go into the store, my wife ordered our meals, so I didn't get to see if you can look into the kitchen, my greatest indicator of a restaurants cleanliness. Staff and service was very good, polite and courteous; demonstrated exceptionally well when a spritely young (early 70's by my guess) came in for her breakfast/ brunch, she was warmly greeted by name and doted over by two staff. Ample parking is available next to and near by the hub. The main road is set away from the hub, with a car park in between, so there is no traffic noise to disturb your dining experience. Generally, we had a nice relaxing brunch, in a nice setting; an enjoyable relaxing morning.
