Persian Room 248 - Toorak

I made a reservation for two people the day before. When I arrived, all the tables inside were occupied, and we were seated outside. When I spoke to the waiter about my reservation, he claimed he had no record of it, but I showed him my confirmation email.

My reservation was not recognized, and they didn't have any of my booking information on file. I also had a $10 credit from my membership, but they wouldn't accept it, which led to a rather embarrassing situation for me.

I loved the authenticity of eating and traditional furnishings. the food came out really quickly, although there were several other tables and just one waiting staff. if they love a hearty well balanced, rich and tasteful meal as this the place to go!

The wait staff was insufficient. We had to wait nearly an hour while five other groups that arrived after us were served first. They tried to make amends, which was appreciated, but their attitude was essentially, "Sorry, but we're busy."

Excellent food, Dips were sensations, loved the kebabs. Tea dessert was amazing.
