A lovely Sunday Roast lunch at this warm welcoming pub. There were 4 people in our party ; 2 had roast chicken, 1 lamb shank and 1 roast pork. We were all very pleased with our choices. More than enough helpings of everything. The service was impeccable led by the manager who was charming and very helpful. Everything was perfect including the prices, which were very reasonable. We have eaten here a number of times now and the standard has been maintained throughout.

We are staying just down the road and booked lunch here before we went onto our holiday place. Service throughout was excellent and very friendly. We both had a roast which was delicious and very good value with lots of veggies and a very tasty crumble and custard for pudding, just what you need on a rainy cloudy Sunday!

We do not live far away but it is the first time we have been here. It was chosen because it is halfway(ish) between us and our friends who we were lunching with. We really hit lucky as it is a very nice little country pub. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. The beer was in great condition as well. We are certain to return.
