Bidra med feedbackI really enjoyed the Margherita pizza at this restaurant. They have a great wine selection and a friendly, casual atmosphere that I loved.
I’m 75 years young, have lived and eaten pizza all over the country including Chicago, New York City, San Francisco and Seattle. I have never tasted a more delicious pizza crust than they make at Route 1.
Definitely give their Queen Bar a try - it's absolutely delicious and perfect for fueling up before a bike ride. I was a bit let down to find out they stopped filling water bottles for cyclists though. It seems like a simple gesture to accommodate. A lot of their business comes from cyclists, after all. Just a heads up, the public restrooms at the park across the street have flushing toilets and clean water available.
We stop in every time we go by or stay nearby. From the delicious breads to the morning treats, we have yet to find something we don't like. Highly recommend the cheddar jalapeño sourdough round.
I was lucky enough to get the last gluten-free muffin before they ran out. This place is a popular spot for freshly baked goods and sandwiches, beautifully presented. They also offer some outdoor seating with shade.
