Bidra med feedbackHonestly, cannot call this a restaurant as they only have green curry. Atmosphere is very nice but the shop is a bit messy, full of packaging everywhere. Maybe because Christmas? More than a restaurant this look more like your typically expensive Omotesando cake shop but in vegan version. Staff... uhm... no welcome, no smile. There were only a panicked woman who never looked elsewhere than the flooring. The place was literally empty on Sunday at 12:00. Weird, thinking all other restaurants around had a queue. I went inside with my coat and bag and was about to have a seat. The woman staff didn 't accompany me to the seat but stopped me asking to go to the cashier first. I asked them if I could leave my belongings first... and she was embarazada and said ok. Then I ordered green curry set asking to get the set coffee afterwards together with a dessert (tiny and expensive but best taste ever) that I will order later. The staff was panicked telling me actually this should be served together... I was astonished and asked if she understood what I meant. Then she said ok... but seemed like not convinced. The conversation was surreal, I was about to leave the place. Green curry taste was excellent, same like you can have in Thailand. But cost 1650 jpy... they named it set but actually it only includes a drink. Not even a small piece of cake. Yes, this place is in the heart of omotesando, but even so I feel it like a bit overpriced maybe. This would easily change just adding one small unexpensive treat. After the green curry, the staff came to take my plate but didn 't took my next oeder so I went again to the cashier to order the dessert. Then while I was looking around in the shop, she brought the dessert and drink to my table without even telling me. Uh? Dessert was a really cute and tiny pistacchio cannule. Tiny. Kind of 6 cm diameter x 5 cm heigh. But the cute tiny cake was a beast for its price, 770 jpy. Well, taste was excellent, no doubt. Soft fresh, aromatic, melting texture. Well decorated. And you eat it seated in an Omotesando cafe. A luxury treat. It wouldn 't sound strange at all if you are in Maison du Chocolate, Pierre Hernes, etc. Guess they have high costs here. I don 't think I would come again if not for a high end meeting.
Awful experience. None of the dishes were palatable. They could learn a thing or two from Gracias Madre or Cafe Gratitude, where they can actually make vegan food appealing to omnivores like me when prepared properly. I dislike vegan restaurants that prioritize being "vegan" over taste. Disappointing.
The food was fantastic! The servers were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely come back again in the future.
The quesadillas were very delicious, and the skewer dish was also quite tasty. It was difficult to tell that I wasn't eating meat.
I was there when I first moved to tokio and after a while back they came back from the first-class option too easy and overpriced.
