Tokeland Hotel & Restaurant

This was a wonderful hotel experience. The staff are so friendly, the food at the restaurant was incredible, and the pets are super sweet. There is clearly a lot of care and thought put into every detail. Will visit again very soon. Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet

We had an amazing time staying at the Tokeland Hotel. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The staff, property, food, animals, and energy are beyond magical. They have everything you need to have the most relaxing stay from complimentary champagne at check in, free coffee and water, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all bathroom necessities (aside from a hair dryer but that was stated in the confirmation email). We chose to use the wood fire hot tub both nights (only $25 per night) We also stayed in and had multiple meals and cocktails at the hotel. Everything is SO tasty and the staff is endlessly kind. We plan on making this a regular getaway. Even though the hotel is the oldest in WA and known to be haunted, we had the most relaxing experience and did not want to leave come check out day. They also have a cozy fireplace and many yard games to play. Plus, a luscious garden with many cute animals to see and be around. 15/10 would recommend staying here or at least eating at the Wandering Goose. Oh, and they have many cute and local items to buy as well. Seriously, do yourself a favor and book a few nights here. You will not regret it!! Rooms: The bed and bedding was so cozy and you had all the bare necessities you would need for a perfect little getaway. The Wi-Fi worked great as well all around the property and in our rooms. There weren’t any tvs, so it was great to unplug, read books, and just enjoy the property and beautiful coastal town of Tokeland. Nearby activities: There is a casino nearby plus Westport is only a 25 min. drive away for more restaurant options, dive bars, fishing charters, shopping, etc. We didn’t leave the Tokeland at all though for the few days we were there. It was nice to slow down and just enjoy the beautiful property, hotel, and all the cuddly animals (dogs and cats). Safety: We felt very safe on the property and inside our rooms. They really take good care to ensure the safety of their guests. It’s really a small coastal town away from everything on a little peninsula. We loved walking around day and night. Walkability: You can walk to the ocean and rocks as well. Nelson Crab Co. had more hot beverages to order plus a cute gift shop as well. More food options too if you want to get different lunch food and snacks. However, we were SUPER pleased with all the food options at the Wandering Goose. Food drinks: Everything is to die for. The cocktails were the best we ever had as well as the food. You can see their menus online, plus they have a seasonal special menu that is constantly changing. We came here with a large group last Friday. The people that worked there were very friendly. However, the restaurant itself was not clean. I am an animal lover, however, I do not appreciate having dogs and cats roaming inside the restaurant as are eating. We had a sweet, old dog begging for food. As cute as he is, it’s not OK. There was also a cat going in and out of the kitchen. My sister-in-law was walking to the restroom and literally stepped in a pile of dog poop. Inside the restaurant.!!!!!! Unacceptable. Needless to say we will not be back. The food was good, but very hard to enjoy considering what was going on around us. Service: 3 Location: 3

The Tokeland Hotel is so fun! It is warm, full of eclectic and fascinating antiques, and artwork, including murals of surrounding plants and bird life on many walls. We sat in the morning by the fire with our black lab (who was welcomed with open arms) in a cozy room with leather couches and Oriental rugs. There are beautiful walks along paths worn through the meadowlands bordering the bay. And the in-house restaurant is fabulous. Rooms: The rooms feature one-of-a-kind murals on their walls and are full of light with very comfortable bedding. Food drinks: The Wandering Goose is the in-hotel, Southern cooking restaurant.
