Bidra med feedbackWe had a nice quiet dinner here. My friend and I shared the Drunken Noodles and Panang Curry and they were both delicious! Our Tom Kha soup was also wonderful and the ingredients were very fresh! This is clearly a family business with direct forward service. Know what you want, order it and get delicious authentic Thai food. We're coming back!
It is a little dated here, but I noticed that there was only one woman in the restaurant. She took our order, and cooked our food, brought it out. She was working her ass off seriously. Right before we left a man came in with her son. I assume he normally cooked. The food was good. Not pretty but tasked fine. The server/hostess/cook was very nice and kept our drinks full even. She was definitely going above and beyond for what she was working with in the restaurant.
The older gentleman that waited on us had no customer service skills at all. The restaurant did not have a comfortable room temperature. My dinner companion was sweating before we left the restaurant. I ordered the Tom Kha soup and it had tomatoes and onions and mushrooms. I have never had Tom Kha with tomatoes. I did not enjoy it at all. My Chicken Pad Thai did not have any thing near a peanut taste and looked almost like it had no sauce. We were very disappointed. It also seems a little more expensive than we were used to at a restaurant like this.
To begin with the doors were locked during business hours. A gentleman eventually unlocked the door and invited me in. I was craving really good Pad Thai and their reviews for it were pretty good. My server didn't offer any drinks, not even water nor did he bring me any water. I ordered miso soup and Pad Thai. The soup was definitely lacking flavor of any kind and quite literally was a very small cup of broth with 2 cubes of tofu and maybe 3 pieces of the greenery most common with it. The pad thai..... No. It came as a bunch of noodles piled on a plate with a side of lettuce, scallions and lime. The flavor was that of seriously diluted peanut butter. Actually, diluted is an understatement as clearly visible by the photo of my plate. Bottom line, don't bother. Service was below par, flavor was pretty much non existent but I surely was given my bill within 5 minutes of receiving my actual meal and he's been back more than 3x to see if I'm ready to pay.
To go order on a Friday night around 730. Not a soul in the restaurant. this should have been my first clue. As this is the only Thai place in town I thought I would give it a try. I ordered pad Thai and red curry. Red curry was watered very little coconut milk. Pad tie was dry. Like noodles cooked hour and hours before. While the people were nice working there it does not make up for the low quality food. I would suggest if your in Titusville and you are in the mood for Thai, go to a Mexican food.
