Tin Fish - Tinley Park

Server was great. Portion/price not great on the sea bass other items were ok. Something was wrong with tilapia flavor we let them know but everything else was great.

The salmon is perfection. The seafood salad, the best I've ever tasted.

Great service and great food! Took family out for a night to relax and couldn't be any happier. The wine list is fantastic and the service is absolutely top notch. One of our favorite spots to treat ourselves.

We have dined at Tin Fish many times and always enjoyed the food. The food has always been good and this dinner was no exception. The Chilean Sea Bass was particularly excellent. The wines by glass are unfortunately limited and mediocre. Definitely not on par with the food. The service was attentive, but very rushed. It seemed to me that the staff was stressed and this came across in the way our table was handled. Personally, I see this as a failing in training and not an issue with the servers at all. They were all very polite and professional. To ensure that the restaurant is on its game, the management needs to take a deeper dive into understanding their customer experience. From a room design perspective, we asked for a quiet date spot so that we could talk and were seated in a booth by the kitchen door..... Really? Also, the booth backs are not separated, so you feel every bump from the person on the opposite side. In this day and age of entitlement and lack of respect for others, restaurant designers need to take the rude and self involved behavior of people into consideration when designing their dining spaces. Since Tin Fish just went through a design refresh, I was definitely annoyed at the experience.

Reception was a little cold when we arrived not a very warm welcoming greeting but we went along. We were seated behind three men having a rather loud spirited business conversation which was a little distracting. I would have rather sat somewhere else but I went along. As time went by the waitress and service was warm and friendly. The food and drinks we liked. I might go back.
