This was my first visit to the Boggy in about seven years, and there's still nothing quite like jumping off the bridge into the Curdie River followed by lunch or tea at the pub. I had nachos and a warm chicken salad for lunch, and both were decent options for a pub meal. The locals were friendly and even helped me get a pot while the barman was busy cooking lunch. This pub has a fantastic atmosphere, reminiscent of the traditional TAB and pokies-free pubs from years past. If you prefer pretentious, characterless restaurants along the Yarra, this place isn't for you.

Definitely worth a visit! It's incredibly charming and quaint. You just don't come across pubs like this anymore.
