Hidden treasure! Highly recommend eating at Felons, which is the restaurant converted from the cafe in the reception of the historic site. If in Port
I had the pleasure of eating here a few days ago. booked with the after dark pass and I admit that I didn't expect so much as I watch the great price of tickets with dinner. with the selection of two cures each (which I was pleasantly surprised that they could share over two persons entree/main and main/dessert) we had the tasting plate for entree. tested wallaby and octopus for the first time and it was great. a good choice and not too much before the main. had the eye fillet (med. rare) and it was perfect. I couldn't pass the sundae to dessert and it was perfectly delicious. the food was excellent, the service was fast and the staff was very pleasant. the wine list was great and the pairings were on the spot. While the location is a bit kikikis, they mentioned, the restaurant moves into the new building and the restaurant is closed for a time as by ostern. a great culinary experience and I would highly recommend it with the tour. I'll be back!
This is in the round the eating at the port Arthur site, turns into an evening meal. zero ambiance I have commented, however, that we were not in something similar to a food dish, we could enjoy eating more. my steak was perfectly boiled, although it hurts me to say that all that was in the butter does not work well (I don't want to talk sick of butter the meeresfruit pasta was also delicious, but. hours later and in the night my partner had a bad breath that we can only trace to this meal. I had a few bites and was in order, so a dodgy could have uttered. that happens (and why I find oysters to be not worth it, because there are not many evening dining options on this wise, this is probably a good option.
Just what pub food should be, I had a delicious parma. a good choice of alcohol, including a Tassie Cidder I enjoyed very much. the prices were also very reasonable in view of the tourist situation. I would not recommend this place after a day of remembrance of the historical site and/or before the ghost tour.
