The Raspado House - Thousand Oaks

Ordered the mini churros for an event and everyone absolutely loved them!

SO GOOD!!! I got the churros and nutella and it was HEAVENLY.

If I could leave less than one star- I would. Everything for what it is... is so bland and tasteless. Like it 's been sitting in water before they serve it. We came in at 830pm on a Saturday night.. because they are across the street. Not only was everything sold out.. but the woman working that night was SO incredibly rude. I asked for a managers name and she asked me what for . After throwing my receipt at me after I asked for one. Because I wasn 't quick enough to grab it. They ignored us when we walked in for about 10 minutes. They were cleaning and mopping as if they wanted to be out of work already. We were ordering to go... left a tip... and were apologetic about being there 30 min before closing time. They overcharged us for crappy tasteless food and the lady behind the counter was rude as hell. I would never recommend this place to even my worst enemy. We spent over 40$. Tipped and were polite. They threw my bag of food on the counter and rudely announced it to was ready. My suggestion. Get someone who actually wants a job and wants to be there before hiring anyone. It could destroy a business. Drive the extra quarter of a mile and get cold stones located in the janss mall!!! Always a good experience.

Checked this place out for dessert. But the prices were more expensive than what we saw on this yep. So, I'm posting photos of the updated prices. We went to get dessert elsewhere. Friendly staff. But at one point, they were talking in spanish in front of us. Please be conscious of your clients. :

So sad to see the quality go down- this used to be my go-to spot for Mexican cravings. Heads up they used fresh cotija for their corn esquites so be prepared to eat a cup of what queso and corn goop. No corn juice just a load of mayo!Thought it was an honest mistake but I called the shop and the cashier confirmed that’s what they use all the time- YEP NEVER eating this again!! ? at least not from here!
