When we inquired about the vegan options, the man pointed towards two dishes containing chicken. We asked if it was vegan chicken or fake chicken, to which he initially said yes, but later clarified that it was real chicken. I showed him my Vegan necklace in an attempt to communicate our dietary preferences, but he still did not understand. Unfortunately, we decided not to dine there. This lack of awareness was disappointing.
