The Dolphin Inn - Thorpeness

We made a reservation for a party of five but could only get a table at 2:30pm. Despite this, we decided to walk along the beach to the pub as we were staying in Aldeburgh. The location was perfect and the pub was packed. We all opted for the £19.95 roast dinner dessert option, which was a good choice for vegetarians. The food was served quickly and was delicious. My only complaint would be that I wished there was more vegetables on my plate. Overall, it was definitely worth a visit and we would for sure return again in the future.

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant because we are always greeted warmly, and they even welcome our two small dogs. The menu always has a wide variety of choices, including daily specials. The dishes are always well-presented and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant as it is consistently excellent.

If you enjoy poor and rude service a Sunday lunch which was cold and of a quality not worthy of the price then this is the place to go. A real disappointment and a day with friends spoilt

We had lunch in the garden of the Dolphin pub on a very sunny sept 4th lunch time and from start to finish the service was great and such friendly waitresses making sure we were having a lovely time !

We stopped in for lunch on a nice sunny day. Lots of seating available outside. A very friendly pub with excellent staff. The food was tasty and a decent quality, a little better than you’d get at an average pub. A little pricy but overall not bad value.
