Bidra med feedbackFood was decent but not too many options available. Service was fast and about what you'd expect. The reason I am writing this review is because my wife and I bought 3 entrées for about $30 total but we went later to check our bank statements and we were charged $260! Be careful if you choose this place. Do not recommend.
Food was alright for the price, the fried rice tasted very plain like white rice with peas in it. the meat was good but super dry though. The counter lady was super rude. started scooping rice without us even saying what we wanted, (which was lo mein we were just awkward and the lady didn't speak english), and when we were leaving and looking around for soy sauce she just kept aggressively pointing us out the door like wtf? Whatever tho it was a $5 meal so if u want alright food at a good price w shitty service this is ur place.
Although the food was somewhat good it was spongy and didn't have enough flavor, when I was recommended to this place I thought more of it and was greatly disappointed.
I really used to love this place. Me and my grandma would go here about twice a week. but today was probably my last time going, I ordered one scoop of fried rice and one side of egg drop soup and was charged $10.45 , when I had asked why so much for two items he tried explaining that each item was $4.50 which still would not come out to $10.45 I have never gone to a Chinese restaurant that charges $4.50 for a scoop of fried rice. Your signage and name is literally $1.25 a scoop and you don't even follow that maybe it's time to go ahead and get a name change or start charging people the correct price. I completely understand the price of food and such has gone up but you need to also change your markings on your menu if that's the case. Asian express literally right next-door to the McDonald's across the street is 10 times better and they charge the correct price every single time I've went in, I will go there from now on.
Exactly what I expect from a place called 1.25 up. It was a classic Chinese takeout and the food did not disappoint. I got the teriyaki chicken and the peppered chicken. Both were excellent! Rice was a little stale, but I went close to closing. If you're craving some late dinner Chinese. You can't go wrong here.
