Bogeys Ice Cream - Thompson

Ice cream used to be good. This past year was a dud. I don't know what changed, but we were pretty disappointed this past summer.

Used to be the best place for ice cream in CT until they changed their ice cream from Richardsons to Bliss. I found out late August and was so saddened. They still serve very large portions which is great so order a small. Staff are lovey too.

We live 10 minutes from here but have never been. We always go to Bucks, which we love. But we went here last minute because Bucks was closed and Bogeys is open a little later. It was great! I got a sundae. I'd get the small next time! They pack their ice cream in! The dogs at the place were great to watch. The food looked good though we didn't get food that night. I'd go again for sure !

Definitely worth the trip to Bogey's Ice Cream with a friendly staff, plenty of parking, picnic tables and amazing ice cream choices. Very good ice cream. Fast and friendly counter people. Really needs soft serve to make it complete. Although Bogey's is about 3 minutes from our house, sometimes we will go all the way to Douglas to get soft serve. That's why I can only give Bogeys 4 stars.
