Paulie's Brick Oven Pizza - Thomasville

Was our favorite pizza place in town but they closed down shop on the 5th of June. The new owner of their building is planning a renovation. I was told that they are not reopening anywhere else.

I really enjoy the food and frequently order delivery. However, I have a major issue: I never receive enough ranch dressing with my orders. If I ask for four, please send me at least eight! I don't mind paying for it because the ranch is just that good. I just want to feel confident that when I request extra ranch on my online order, I’ll actually get it. The food is fantastic, and the quality of the ranch is top-notch, but the quantity always leaves me wanting more. Thanks for considering this!

A slightly unpleasant smell greeted us as we walked in but not so strong as to make us turn around. Nice smile from hostess but we were seated without menus and had to wait for them. The menu's were confusing. A single topping calzone was $11. A special lunch single topping calzone with drink $9. No combination topping calzones listed and each topping was $1.50. My wife got a sausage calzone that was gooey in the middle and the sausage was not very flavorful. Very much bread with cheese and not much flavor. My loaded Greek small pizza had perfectly toasted crust for me, but overall the ingredients were not flavorful. Canned sliced olives for sure. Not interested in going back again.

The pizza was satisfactory, though nothing out of the ordinary. It had a fresh taste. However, the manicotti could have benefited from a bit more flavor. Additionally, the restaurant could have been cleaner, as there were quite a few dust particles, fingerprints, and old food stains that needed attention.

Delicious! I absolutely loved the pizza. Even though I was dealing with some tooth pain, I still enjoyed my meal. I will definitely come back and would highly recommend this place. The prices were fantastic!
