Bidra med feedbackI was told that this was the best place in Thiruvananthapuram for South Indian cuisine. However, food was a total disappointment. We ordered Saambar Vada, Dosa and filter coffee. The Saambar was cold and not at all tasty. The filter coffee was also average. Though service was good, I will not visit this place again for South Indian food. I am sure that there must be better places in Thiruvananthapuram.
They'll be offered in two flavors — classic cream and chocolate cream — and will be a permanent addition to the menu starting today, June 17. Krispy Kreme has sold Original Glazed Filled donuts with Nutella in the UK before, but this is the first time they've filled the original glazed donuts in the US, a Krispy Kreme representative told BuzzFeed
Small cozy place for economical South Indian Food Like Idly Vada, Dosa of 2-3 kinds and limited other options
Sree Arul Jyothi opposite to the Secretariat serves good vegetarian food and be it the dosas, thali meals or chappathi/poratta really tasty. I used to have food from here and must say that the Thali meals with the side dishes is really good. Chappathi or Porotta with kuruma will make a good dinner. Service is good and the restaurant is having sufficient seating. Nice restaurant to dine with family.
The hotel is not so fancy by the looks but once you enter you an make out its pretty old eatery and that won't disappoint at all if you are fancy on trying something old and authentic local food. It's a pure veg only restaurant. The menu is limited but all worth trying especially thalis, dosas local varieties, masala kulcha, parotta (all yum). They have a sweets shop next to the restaurant, which again has some good local food to try. I tried Kerala version of Pooran Poli (a Maharashtrian dish) there and it was yum. fascinated by seeing Imarati too. lastly, as I mentioned earlier its not a fancy hotel so its pretty pocket friendly. Happy eating!
