Bidra med feedbackStaff is extremely nice and attentive. Food is what you would expect from your typical taqueria. Pancakes were good though!
Awesome authentic Mexican food and great service ..highly recommend it
Solid barbacoa taco but meh pastor. Tacos are on the smaller side so $2 each is a tad high, but not too bad
This restaurant is anti-black. Of course it is true that all lives are valuable and are important, phrases such as all lives matter or police lives matter have come about in an attempt to discredit or invalidate the Black Lives Matter movement. As I was about to enter the restaurant, I saw multiple Police Lives Matter stickers by the door handle, so I got in my car and went to one of the taquerias on Irvington.
This is one of my favorite taco restaurants in Houston. I'll often go when I'm in between seeing patients at LBJ and Memorial Hermann, since it's right off the freeway. For breakfast tacos, I highly recommend the nopales con huevos. I just started adding potatoes on those for a couple more cents and it's spectacular. Make sure to ask for cebolla y cilantro. Their house salsa is excellent also. I bought a bottle of the salsa rojo for home. Solid tortillas de maíz, which is not always a given in Houston, which seems to be more of a harina kind of town. Taco history: California native. Worked in East LA for 6 years.
