Kids found The Riv while arguing over where to go for breakfast and they NAILED IT. The 6 of us came on what turned out to be their 6th anniversary and were pleasantly surprised at the register to find out our 6th meal was free in celebration of the anniversary (yay! Such a beautiful remodel(? repurpose(? of an old church something you don't often see. The food is even better. Glad we went and we'll back back every year when we come visit family. Only regret is not knowing about The Riv sooner.

This was recommended to us by a local Dalles resident and it did not disappoint. We ate our lunch outside and it was a wonderful afternoon. My only regret was not getting some coffee. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
