Bidra med feedbackHad the worst experience tonight! And this sucks because we use to love this place. When Our food was delivered to table,the woman with glasses asked if we needed sauces we said yes. She then had a 15 minute gossip conversation with another table, meanwhile my wife bit into the Lima beans and they clearly tasted like there was a chemical in them. As in it was a foreign substance like cleaner or something. She had me taste to make sure she wasn’t crazy. I had to get up and find the woman and tell her and she goes yeah everyone is saying that! Why are you still serving them(especially if it is a possible food safety issue)? Then the red headed boy comes to our table and rudely says “did you complain about the Lima beans” and with his snotty attitude puts the green beans down. I was floored, so I said they tasted like cleaning chemicals and he waived his hand and sachet away. The only one who was kind was a blonde haired woman she was the one who was running the register. She tried to make things right. Please note I also heard several other tables complaining as well. For a $63 meal plus a tip that I wish I didn’t give prior to the experience, should have been better like a lot better.

Before the new owners took over this was one of our favorite places to go for decent country cooking! Now it’s “Self Serve!” Who stands in line to order their food looking up at a big screen with so much going on it took forever ! BRING YOUR GLASSES!!! And Patient! We waited for a long time on our food, and noticed several of the elderly people of our community struggling to get to a table much less having to get up and down to get their own silverware, their own refills on drinks and we over heard several say they had been waiting for 30-45 minutes on their food! Then once your food did come out of it was wrong I guess you have to flag someone down or GET UP and go find someone . I understand change BUT this is RIDICULOUS!!! Sorry Papa’s Place but this wasn’t a good move!! Thank about the handicap and elderly!!!
Papa's Place has redesigned their floor plan; if you've never been then it will not affect your experience. For regulars, who are probably not checking reviews before going, the entrance has moved to the far left. You now order and pay BEFORE you sit down. The servers will ask if you need anything when they bring drinks and food but it's not as full service as it used to be. The food great but if you are familiar with the way it was there's a bit of a learning curve.
I DO NOT like the new way to order your meal. I went from a great family restaurant to the a fast food restaurant. Good luck...lost my business.
