With a nice beer garden and a quaint bar, the pub offers their own pizzas in a wood oven outside during the summer. This unique touch should help the pub survive through these challenging times.
Located in a beautiful, secluded setting just minutes from the motorway junction, The Pot Kiln is a charming restaurant. Despite arriving late due to delays, we were warmly welcomed and seated by the cozy fireplace. The homemade focaccia was a highlight, and we enjoyed dishes like Ragu of Berkshire Hare and Pave of Linkenfolt Fallow Deer, both flavorful and well-executed. Desserts like Homemade Bread Butter Pudding and Honey Rosemary Pannacotta were also delicious. The only downside was the lack of baby changing facilities, but overall, it was a great dining experience.
Last year, we dined at the Pot Kiln and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was lovely, although the tables were a bit closer together than what I'm used to. The baked pork belly I had was incredibly tender, the roast pigeon starter was delicious (not the vomit-eating ones from Trafalgar Square), and the dessert was heavenly. The only downside was the price, as it was quite high for two people without alcohol. Despite that, we will definitely be returning as the meal was amazing.
