The Beano Cafe Grange Road - Thanet

I visited two Beano cafes during my time in the area. The one in Broadstairs was disappointing, but this one was excellent. Beano is not a chain, but rather a collection of individual businesses, which may explain the difference in quality. The chefs at the Ramsgate location really knew how to prepare an English breakfast. They had mastered the art of cooking it, as the food was piping hot and the over-easy eggs were perfectly runny. The hash browns were crispy and not soggy, and even the tea was well made. The only downside was the average quality sausage. The cafe was bustling with locals and workers, a good sign of its popularity. Although not located on the seafront, it is a great spot to stop for breakfast while walking from the station to the western seafront. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food offered.

I had a great experience at lunch on Saturday. The chicken casserole was fantastic and the staff were all very friendly. The young man who served us even took the time to chat with us. Overall, it was a wonderful meal. - Tim Awcock

My first visit with my family it was a clean environment with friendly staff. we ordered and got a fast service and at really cheap prices for what the quality of food was i will definitely be visiting there again :

The roast chicken meal on Sundays is absolutely delicious! The portion is generous with tasty chicken, vegetables, roast potatoes, gravy, and a delightful surprise of a Yorkshire pudding. The staff are incredibly friendly and the cafe is impeccably clean.
