Mexicano - Thabazimbi

I absolutely adored this place. We went for brunch and it cost roughly R 200–250 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, each earning a rating of 5. Additionally, there was plenty of parking available, with the option of free parking in the parking lot.

When we arrived to pick up our food, there was no electricity available for service.

This place is closed and has moved to Koolstoof Restaurant behind the Engen on the main road!

Great rustic ambience, excellent service, excellent food: eisbein, schnitzel, cordon bleu etc. Daily specials were real value. Drinks reasonably priced. A real South African gem.

We were hosted by Mexicano Restaurant last weekend for a family reunion and birthday party. their food was excellent, great value, well presented and a great variety such as burgers, pizza, eisbein, schnitzel etc. The service was good and friendly. The bushveld atmosphere is great, with a large children's playground , beautiful pool and braai area. We would definitely recommend them and will go there as often as we can.
