Baglio Himera - TERMINI IMERESE

A local taxi driver recommended this restaurant to us. It's not in the town, although on a main road it was really easy to find. We were a group of four adults and three children (my two can be picky eaters), so the taxi driver...called ahead to make sure that they had space for us. It was worth it. The staff had very little English, but went out of her way to accommodate us and our waitress brought over someone to help her translate the specials and recommend food options for us. The adults shared a platter of seafood for the starter and it was by and and away the best food we had throughout our two week trip. The oysters were fantastic, I think I ate all mine and possibly my husbands too... and normally I don't even really like oysters! The kids got bolognese (although not on the menu) and pizzas and they ate every scrap. I can't recommend it enough. I would go back to Sicily just to eat here.

Positive experience, I ate a fish-based menu, great food and staff really makes the difference. I hope to return very soon

Great brusche, excellent local pizza spacious and characteristic the owner must be a car enthusiast, especially rally car, from the many photos displayed in the prepared and friendly staff, I found myself very well.

There's no restaurant outside. It's pretty good at zero. Service's really great. Porcium is big. Pizza with tuna and pizza, four cheeses, just a bomb. It's delicious. Spaghetti's up. Midia is delicious. Teramis is great. The prices are real. Thank you. We'll have to come back again.
